Here are some examples:
Fill your background (i used #FF3300); and change Blend Mode of the folder "My cubes copy" on "Colour burn". Looks good, huh?
On the sample below i used #0D3639 for background and Blend Mode: "Screen".
If you didn't forget to save your layer style, every time you need to create something plastic and transparent just choose your sytle in the palette. You can use this style for anything (plastic buttons also will look fine). You can also easily make any modifications and adjustments.
